The Ukrainian Community Center of Hampton Roads wants to wish you a Happy Independence Day of Ukraine! Today, we honor Ukraine’s Independence, celebrating the courage, resilience, and unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people. For 34 years, Ukraine has stood proudly as a free and sovereign nation, defending its culture, language, and future. As we reflect on the sacrifices made and the strength that continues to inspire the world, we reaffirm our solidarity with Ukraine and our community here in Hampton Roads. May freedom, peace, and hope always prevail. Слава Україні!
We want to thank everyone who joined us yesterday for the Independence Day of Ukraine Event. We are proud to be a part of the vibrant, proactive, and dedicated community of Ukrainians, Ukrainian-Americans, and American friends of Ukraine. As a reminder, we continue our charity auction to support the First Battalion of Military Chaplains of Ukraine.
